Visiting Sumako's Family

Ed and Sumako, Lenny and I took a train to city where Sumako's sister lives. She met us at the train and gave us a quick driving tour of the city. Then we stopped at a super market/mall - VERY COOL!!! (Lenny and I picked out Oreo cookies, Ritz crackers and three bags of nuts, none of which we were allowed to pay for. Only Sumako's sister could pay . . .)

Then we hit the road to visit the small town where Sumako's mother and more family live. It was wonderful meeting all of them and experiencing a day with REAL Japanese people!
